Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Review and supervise expediting of purchase orders to ensure that they are delivered/ready for collection within project schedule/purchase order terms.
Assistance into the creations of expediting reports in materials management system.
Assist to manage the expediting process of FEED/EPC Contractor’s procurement activities
Continuous expediting of purchase orders and relevant procurement activities pertaining to FEED/EPC Contractor.
Understands the supplier delivery obligations form the terms and conditions of purchase
Ability to interpret supplier production plans to identify improvement opportunities and negotiate delivery improvements
Updating of materials management system with the expediting status of Purchase Orders.
Continually set expediting follow up dates in materials management system.
Issue expediting progress reports and update system accordingly.
Notifying Procurement / Supply Chain Lead of any potential schedule slippages.
Maintain an auditable file of all relevant expediting documentation for each purchase order in relevant shared drive / area.
Demonstrate commitment to safe working practices.
Understands and aware of ADNOC Onshore Standards & Procedures
Participates into expediting the delivery of procured items, production progress and shipment schedules

Expected:
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering (i.e. Mechanical/ Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical. IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of ten (10+) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including five (5) years (preferred) in GCC Region
Detailed knowledge of Suppliers and Expediting Status Reporting.
Awareness of ADNOC Group Standards & Procedures
Previous experience in similar roles of expediting within Oil & Gas EPC projects
Awareness of supplier production schedules
Understanding of how terms and conditions of purchase influence delivery requirements
Previous use of ERP’s such as Maximo, Oracle, SAP.
Qualified to ISCED Level 4/5 (Post-Secondary non-tertiary/Short-Cycle tertiary)
