Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
This PMC Infrastructure Project Manager role with Parsons Corporation in Abu Dhabi focuses on leading project management consultancy activities for major civil and infrastructure programs. The position oversees project execution, financial performance, client coordination, team leadership, and adherence to project management plans, ensuring successful delivery of complex multi-disciplinary works.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise all business, technical, and administrative functions of assigned projects
- Forecast monthly revenue, labor costs, ODCs, and gross profit throughout the project duration
- Develop project budgets and manage profitability, invoicing, billing, and financial reporting
- Lead preparation of Project Management Plans, HSE Plans, and QA/QC Plans
- Establish project requirements and monitor deliverables for technical and commercial compliance
- Assign key responsibilities to project team members based on strengths and capabilities
- Manage scope of work, negotiate modifications, and ensure timely processing of change orders
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify additional business opportunities
- Support staff development by preparing career plans, defining training needs, and overseeing performance management
- Develop staffing plans for current projects and future pursuits
- Participate in committees, industry boards, and professional conferences to enhance visibility
- Work with discipline leads and project engineers to coordinate schedules, budgets, and technical planning
- Identify risks, implement corrective actions for delays or cost impacts, and update stakeholders accordingly
- Promote quality excellence and ensure application of QA processes across project deliverables
- Monitor progress, track milestones, and report conditions affecting cost or schedule
- Represent Parsons in client interactions, subcontractor discussions, and regulatory meetings
- Conduct weekly project status reviews and assign action items for resolution
- Participate in proposal preparation, client meetings, and business development activities
- Maintain current knowledge of client pipelines and market opportunities
- Carry out additional project management responsibilities as required
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related technical/business field
- Minimum 12 years of experience in civil infrastructure project management, including roads and utilities
- At least 8 years of Middle East experience and 5 years within the UAE
- Strong track record in PMC roles, project leadership, and multi-disciplinary coordination
- Strong financial management, forecasting, and contract administration experience
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with clients and senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of project controls, planning, and change management processes
