Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enhancement of PMO governance frameworks and methodologies
- Provide project management support across multiple projects and programs
- Prepare project status reports, dashboards, KPIs, and executive presentations
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards, policies, and governance requirements
- Facilitate project reviews, steering committee meetings, and governance sessions
- Coordinate with business units, project teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Support portfolio management, resource planning, and project prioritization activities
- Conduct project health checks, audits, and performance assessments
- Recommend process improvements and PMO best practices
- Support enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Engineering, or related field
- 5 10 years of experience in PMO, project management, governance, or consulting roles
- Strong local market experience is mandatory
- Government or semi-government sector experience is required
- Arabic speaking skills are preferred/mandatory
- Strong understanding of PMO frameworks, project governance, and portfolio management
- Experience with PMO and reporting tools such as MS Project, Jira, Power BI, Primavera, or ServiceNow
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in fast-paced environments
Preferred Certifications
- PMP (Project Management Professional)
- PRINCE2 Certification
- PMI-PMOCP or equivalent PMO certifications
- Agile / Scrum Certifications
- ITIL Certification
Preferred Experience
- Government transformation and strategic initiatives
- Enterprise PMO setup and governance implementation
- Portfolio and program management experience
- Executive reporting and dashboard preparation
- Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments

We are seeking an experienced PMO Consultant to support and enhance project management office operations, governance frameworks, portfolio management, and strategic project delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PMO processes, project governance, reporting, and stakeholder management within enterprise and government environments.
Candidates with local market experience, government sector exposure, relevant certifications, and Arabic language proficiency are highly preferred.
