Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including subcontractor schedules and Thales internal team inputs, using industry-standard scheduling tools.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain accurate and timely schedule updates and ensure their activities align with project milestones and deadlines.
- Collect, consolidate, and validate schedule inputs from various Thales teams to maintain an integrated and coherent master schedule.
- Monitor schedule progress, identify critical paths, potential delays, and suggest mitigation actions to the project management team.
- Provide regular status reports and schedule analysis to stakeholders, highlighting risks, dependencies, and schedule changes.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and workshops involving subcontractors, project managers, and technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to corporate and project-specific scheduling standards and procedures.
- Support risk management activities by identifying schedule-related risks and working with the project team to develop contingency plans.
- Assist in resource planning by providing scheduling insights for effective allocation and utilization.
- Maintain historical schedule data for lessons learned and future project planning reference.
- Deploy Lessons Learnt practices over the project lifecycle
- Implement Project management / Process improvement initiatives
- Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders with a focus on what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
- Set-up and implement a claims/variation strategy including all the project stakeholders within Contract Standards
Desired Candidate Profile
b> u>Qualification:/u> /b>
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in project planning and scheduling within engineering, construction, defense, or technology sectors.
- Strong proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Experience managing subcontractor schedules and integrating multiple schedule inputs into a master schedule.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding contract terms and conditions related to claims.
- Ability to document delay events, impacts, and justifications systematically.
- Experience in preparing and presenting claims or extensions of time (EOT) requests clearly and professionally.
- Familiarity with standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, etc.) and legal implications related to delays and claims.
- Understanding of delay analysis methods (e.g., Time Impact Analysis
- Proactive and able to anticipate scheduling issues ahead of time.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Exhibit leadership in identifying and resolving issues
- Able to understand the baseline program timeline and work with the projects teams identifying risks and issues that could impact the delivery plan

Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
