Position Overview

Accor Dubai is seeking a dedicated Pool and Beach Attendant to join the team at Fairmont The Palm. This full-time role ensures the cleanliness, safety, and setup of poolside and beach areas, while delivering exceptional guest service. As part of the Health Club team, you will play a vital role in maintaining luxury hospitality standards and enhancing the overall resort experience for our guests.

Core Duties

* Prepare and maintain cleanliness of the Health Club, pool, beach, and surrounding areas in line with Fairmont standards
* Set up pool and beach furniture, umbrellas, towels, and amenities before guest arrival
* Greet guests warmly, offer towels, and guide them to available seating with attentiveness and courtesy
* Replenish towels and supplies in changing rooms and the fitness area; manage towel inventory
* Turn steam room and sauna on/off during opening and closing procedures
* Handle basic maintenance and report any malfunctions, hazards, or lost and found items promptly
* Support recreational events and guest experience enhancements with refreshments, cold towels, and timely service
* Follow health and safety policies, hygiene practices, and equipment care protocols
* Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards consistently
* Assist with linen retrieval and ensure effective waste management procedures
* Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and attend pre-shift briefings

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fitness/wellness center preferred
* High School diploma or vocational training required
* CPR and First Aid certification a plus
* Fluent English communication (spoken and written); additional languages beneficial
* Friendly, guest-focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills
* High personal hygiene and professional appearance standards
* Physically fit, able to lift and set up pool/beach furniture, and work outdoors in warm conditions
* Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and service excellence
