Pool Technician Poolmen

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Pool Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and servicing pools to ensure they remain safe, functional, and enjoyable for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning, including vacuuming, skimming, brushing, and emptying baskets.

• Monitor and adjust pool water chemistry to required health and safety standards.

• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pool equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters.

• Report repair needs, safety issues, or equipment malfunctions.

• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines when handling chemicals and tools.

• Deliver professional and friendly customer service during all site visits.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in pool cleaning, maintenance, or a related field (preferred).

• Knowledge of pool systems: pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing.

• Ability to test and balance pool water (pH, chlorine, alkalinity).

• Familiarity with pool cleaning tools (vacuums, skimmers, brushes).

• Basic troubleshooting skills for equipment issues (clogged filters, pump faults, leaks).

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent local certification (preferred).

Basic Requirements

• Good English (or local language) communication skills.

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.

• Preferred: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
