POST DOCTORAL - HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS RESEARCH GROUP University of Sharjah

The High Energy Physics group at the University of Sharjah is a part of the UAE-ATLAS cluster, which includes four institutions across the UAE. The group is contributing to the Tile Calorimeter (TileCal) project, covering detector operations, performance studies, and the ongoing TileCal upgrade for the High-Luminosity LHC. The UoS HEP group is actively involved in data analysis and contributes to Standard Model measurements involving hadron jets and electroweak bosons, as well as searches for manifestations of new physics in proton-proton collisions at the LHC.

Beyond ATLAS-related activities, the group's research interests extend to a wide range of topics in physics beyond the Standard Model, including model building, dark matter, collider phenomenology, early-universe phase transitions, and gravitational waves.
