Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Execute voyage orders in line with contractual and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with charterers, brokers, and owners for smooth cargo operations
Supervise tank cleaning and cargo handling to industry standards
Monitor vessel performance and minimise turnaround times
Handle disputes and claims arising from charter party agreements
Drive process improvements for operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Stay current with industry developments and regulatory changes
What We re Looking For
Solid experience in tanker vessel operations (product/chemical/stainless steel)
Strong knowledge of tank cleaning procedures and cargo handling practices
Proficiency in maritime software such as IMOS
Sharp analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
ICS/Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers qualification is a plus
Desired Candidate Profile
You will oversee all post-fixture operations from voyage execution and cargo coordination to laytime calculations and freight invoicing ensuring contractual compliance and optimal vessel performance.
