Job Summary:

The Poultry Farm Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of poultry farm operations, including flock health, feed management, egg and meat production, staff supervision, and biosecurity measures. The role ensures efficient production while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and full compliance with industry and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily poultry farm operations.
• Monitor flock health, vaccination schedules, and disease prevention programs.
• Supervise farm staff, assign daily tasks, and ensure proper training.
• Manage feed, water supply, and environmental conditions (temperature, ventilation, lighting).
• Ensure strict adherence to biosecurity, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Track production performance, inventory levels, mortality rates, and sales data.
• Coordinate with veterinarians, suppliers, and distributors as needed.
• Prepare regular reports on farm performance and productivity.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in poultry farm management or livestock operations.
• Strong knowledge of poultry health, nutrition, and production systems.
• Experience managing farm staff and day-to-day operations.
• Familiarity with biosecurity standards and poultry industry regulations.
• Ability to analyze production data and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
