Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Operate and supervise the surface pretreatment line (Degreasing, Etching, Chromating, Rinsing).
- Perform daily chemical analysis (Titration, pH, Conductivity).
- Adjust and monitor oven curing parameters (temperature & time).
- Ensure proper film thickness and coating quality (Micron testing).
- Troubleshoot coating defects such as:
- Peeling
- Orange Peel
- Pinholes
- Under/Over Curing
- Monitor chemical consumption and optimize usage.
- Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
B.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in aluminum powder coating.
- Strong knowledge of electrostatic coating and pretreatment systems (Chromate / Non-chromate).
- Problem-solving skills and strong attention to quality.
- Ability to work under production pressure.
