Responsibilities

• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports and dashboards across various departments.
• Work closely with other teams to gather reporting needs and translate them into efficient Power BI solutions.
• Optimize dashboards and reports for performance and user experience enhancements.
• Utilize Power BI to create robust data models and interactive dashboards from multiple data sources.
• Implement data security through row-level security in Power BI and perform regular audits.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS) or by API automation.
• Continuously monitor and manage the performance of production Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their ability to use the dashboard and reports.
• Stay updated with the latest BI trends and industry best practices to innovate effective reporting strategies.
• Collaborate with the IT team on infrastructure improvements as they relate to data warehouse management.
• Maintain documentation of processes, project plans, user guides, and system descriptions.
• Perform troubleshooting and bug-fixing of issues reported by users on Power BI dashboards.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, MIS, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role in business intelligence.
• Proficiency in DAX and Power Query for creating complex calculations and queries.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, including ETL and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries to manipulate and retrieve data from databases.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking for converting data into informative visual reports.
