Power Engineer National Food Products Company (Nfpc) LLC

The Electrical Power Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising the power systems, electrical infrastructure, and utilities automation across Dairy and Juice Mega plant and warehouses. This role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical assets including transformers, switchgear, power distribution panels, utility control panels, and SCADA/automation systems. The incumbent will also drive energy-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Power Systems & Infrastructure

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and low voltage electrical systems including power transformers, MV/LV switchgear, distribution boards, motor control centers (MCCs), and utility panels.

• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all activities.

• Oversee scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance tasks to maximize asset reliability.

• Review electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), specifications and ensure accurate implementation of changes.

• Coordinate and manage electrical shutdowns and planned outages with operations and production teams to minimize impact.

  • Oversee the utilities automation systems and SCADA platforms to monitor power distribution, load management, and utility performance.

  • Lead fault analysis and troubleshooting when automation alerts indicate anomalies.

  • Support SCADA data reporting, trending, and interface

Energy Management & Improvement Projects

• Identify and implement energy saving opportunities such as power factor correction, load optimization, and automation improvements.

• Lead technical evaluation, justification, and implementation of energy efficiency and reliability projects.

• Prepare cost-benefit analyses, budget estimates, and technical specifications for power improvement initiatives.
