Power Systems Engineer I

Develop collector systems and substations one-line diagrams, steady-state, short circuit and dynamic plant models as well as generation interconnection applications for solar, wind and battery energy storage projects

Provide technical support to generation/load interconnection processes with the transmission grid from the initial filing of the interconnection application all the way through commercial operations

Conduct electrical system design studies for wind, solar and battery energy storage projects and provide recommendations to meet the applicable codes and standards as well as the transmission and distribution service provider s requirement

I- Qualifications

Education: Bachelor s degree in Electric Engineering; master s degree is a plus

Experience: 0-2 years of experience

Demonstrates high standards in delivering quality reports and products

II- Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of programming software is a plus
