Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
At Capgemini Engineering, we are looking for a Powertrain Expert to strengthen our automotive engineering teams and support advanced Electric Vehicle (EV) projects.
- Act as a technical expert on EV powertrain systems (electric motor, inverter, battery pack, reducer)
- Define and validate powertrain architecture and system integration
- Lead subsystem coordination, project governance, and reporting at key milestones
- Manage suppliers and ensure delivery on cost, quality, and timing
- Contribute to cost control (product cost, tooling, CAPEX) and change management
- Ensure alignment between subsystem and system-level objectives
Desired Candidate Profile
Your role

Your profile
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
- Strong experience in Automotive Powertrain, with focus on Electric Powertrain systems
- Expertise in electric motors, inverters (PHONE_NUMBERV), battery packs, and system integration
- Knowledge of CATIA / NX, ANSYS, and automotive standards (ISO 26262, LV 123/124)
- Structured mindset with strong leadership and coordination skills
- Fluent in English and French
