Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES
- To produce a regular status report on each of his/her accounts
- To organise regular internal status meetings
- To organise client meetings and requirements thereof (e.g. booking rooms, lunch, room layout/presentation etc)
- To record all client meetings in accurate contact reports, distributed within 24 hours
- To maintain a central filing system for documentation and tapes
- To check the quality of all work leaving the agency (e.g. video tapes, proofing documents etc.)
- To know the workings of the agency outside the confines of Account Management
- To regularly monitor and analyse competitive advertising and competitive product activity
- Should answer all client queries promptly
- To demonstrate drive and commitment to produce outstanding advertising
- To work with creative teams to help produce the most relevant presentation materials for new work
- To make an effort to watch monthly TV and competitive updates
- To be responsible for budget control of their account(s) based on Account Manager / Director s direction
- To hold regular status meetings with Financial / Production Controllers
- To ensure that all WIP can be resolved as soon as possible
- To chase client for payment of invoices and clear up invoice queries promptly
- Should conduct reconciliation s of each job within three months of its completion
- To assist the Account Manager in the production of all campaigns
- To update the Traffic Manager as soon as any changes happen to the status of any job
- To review status of all jobs with Traffic Manager on a weekly basis
- To open Job Numbers as soon as required
- To regularly close jobs which are no longer live
- To submit timing plans/estimates to client for approval
- To give clear indication of dates by when work is required
- Where possible, should give sufficient time for brief to be worked on to standard timings
- Should immediately inform client of revisions to timing plans/estimates, supplying and gaining approval of supplementary estimates when necessary
- To inform Production Manager of media plan for each job
- To gain approval of print advertising from concept through to final proof stage
- To check quality of all advertising produced in their account (e.g. checks spelling and grammatical accuracy of print advertising
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience working within the digital/social agency space
- Stellar written and presentation communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior brand managers and partner agencies.
- A proven expertise in brand strategy, across a number of verticals, with the ability to translate strategy into smart and sound digital tactics
- An understanding of a brand marketing mix, ensuring that social & digital strategies integrate and amplify more traditional channels
- Years of hands-on experience managing & mentoring teams, including direct reports as well as cross-functional teammates
- A glass-half-full outlook that contributes to an already ridiculously-strong company culture, and healthy business
