Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide technical support for LV panels, power distribution systems, control gear, and electrical components.

  • Prepare technical submittals, BOQs, compliance sheets, and single-line diagrams based on project specifications.
  • Assist in product selection, custom configurations, and sizing as per site and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical clarifications to clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Support technical aspects of EV charger systems (AC/DC) including wiring schemes and load distribution planning.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant international standards such as IEC 60079, IEC 61439, IECEx, and ATEX certifications.
  • Provide technical documentation, data sheets, and authority-compliant submissions (DEWA, ADDC, SEC, SASO).
  • Conduct product presentations, technical demos, and site visits for support and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers (e.g., SCAME Italy and other European brands) for product-related technical queries and updates.
  • Use AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP tools (Odoo preferred) for documentation and internal processes.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, product innovations, and authority regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a technical support or application engineering role, preferably in trading/distribution companies.
  • Strong knowledge of LV systems, control panels, explosion-proof components, and power distribution.
  • Familiarity with ATEX, IECEx, IEC 60079, and IEC 61439 standards.
  • Experience with EV charger technology, including both AC and DC systems, is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of DEWA, ADDC, SEC, SASO, and other authority approval procedures is preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and basic ERP software (Odoo experience is a plus).
  • Excellent skills in reading technical drawings, data sheets, and preparing technical documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in client coordination, technical clarifications, and presentations.
  • Prior experience with Italian or European brands such as SCAME, Legrand, or Schneider is an added advantage.
