Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Design enterprise networking solutions aligned with customer requirements and business objectives
- Develop:
- High-Level Designs (HLD)
- Low-Level Designs (LLD)
- Technical proposals
- Bill of Quantities (BOQs)
- RFP/RFI responses
- Support networking solution architectures covering:
- LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Enterprise wireless solutions
- SD-WAN
- Network segmentation and connectivity
Technical Expertise & Solution Positioning
- Provide technical guidance on networking best practices, scalability, and infrastructure design
- Support positioning of Cisco-based networking solutions across enterprise environments
- Assist in solution comparison, technical assessments, and vendor positioning activities
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and vendor roadmaps
Customer Engagement & Technical Advisory
- Conduct customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and technical demonstrations
- Understand customer technical and business requirements and translate them into networking solutions
- Support technical discussions during pre-sales engagements and opportunity qualification
- Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and technical validation activities where required
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Delivery, and Technical teams to ensure successful solution alignment and handover
- Support implementation readiness and technical clarification activities
- Contribute to customer success initiatives through technical support and engagement
Documentation & Best Practices
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and solution records
- Ensure proposed solutions align with customer standards and best practices
- Support continuous improvement of solution templates, technical documentation, and presales processes
Desired Candidate Profile
u>Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related field /li> li>3 6 years of experience in networking, presales, or system integration environments /li> li>Strong technical knowledge in: /li> ul> li>Routing & Switching /li> li>LAN/WAN networking /li> li>TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF /li> li>Network design and architecture /li> li>Enterprise wireless technologies /li> li>SD-WAN fundamentals /li> /ul> li>Experience developing: /li> ul> li>Technical proposals /li> li>BOQs /li> li>Network solution designs /li> /ul> li>Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments /li> li>Cisco networking technologies /li> li>Hands-on or presales experience with: Fortinet solutions (basic security integration awareness is a plus)Experience supporting enterprise networking projects and customer engagements /li> li>Strong customer-facing and technical solution positioning experience/li> li>Certifications; Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Fortinet (NSE 4 or above)/li>
