Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Missions
Be in charge of the development of commercial offers in response to consultations, calls for tenders or any requests for price proposals.
Analysis of Tender Documents:
Familiarize and analyze the written documents (CCTP, CCAP, BPU, DQE, etc.) and graphs (plans, diagrams) of the consultation files.
Identify the technical, administrative and regulatory constraints specific to the project.
Identify missing pieces or inconsistencies in the files.
Project costing:
Carry out precise quantities from plans and descriptions.
Consult suppliers and subcontractors to obtain prices for specific materials, equipment and services.
Estimate direct costs (materials, labour, materials, subcontracting) and indirect costs (site costs, overheads, insurance, etc.)
Integrate margins and contingencies.
Use the company's costing tools and price databases.
Drafting of Price Offers:
Write technical and commercial proposals in accordance with the client's requirements and the specificities of the specifications and projects.
Prepare detailed quotes, unit price schedules and breakdowns of fixed prices.
Participate in the drafting of technical briefs.
Cost Optimization:
Propose technical variants or alternative solutions to optimize costs while meeting quality and performance requirements.
Perform comparative price analysis.
Monitoring and Monitoring:
Update price databases and ratios (price repository).
Ensure a technological and regulatory watch on market developments and construction techniques,
Participate in the feedback of projects to adjust future costing.
Work closely with technical, purchasing and sales teams.
Profile
Technical Knowledge:
Mastery of quantity surveying and costing techniques (cost estimation)
Good knowledge of construction materials and technical processes specific to the sector of activity (construction, industry, services, etc.)
Proficiency in office automation software (Excel, Word).
Reading and interpreting plans and technical diagrams, Knowledge of the standards and regulations in force.
Software Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel software (proficiency in other software desired). o Notions of CAD/CAD software (AutoCAD) appreciated.

Ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
Technical and economic curiosity.
Formation: Senior Technician in Building and Public Works (TS Quantity Surveyor/TS Works Supervisor).
Bac + 3 (Bachelor's degree) related to building, public works or any equivalent technical training,
Experience: 6 Significant experience (2 to 5 years) in a similar position, in a design office or in a general contractor.
