Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Homeroom Teacher to take responsibility for the academic and social development of a class of primary-aged students. The successful candidate will deliver the British National Curriculum, nurturing both academic achievement and personal growth within a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English, Mathematics, Science, and foundation subjects in line with the British curriculum.
- Plan differentiated lessons to engage and support all learners.
- Establish positive routines and effective classroom management strategies.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress to parents and school leadership.
- Build strong relationships with parents and guardians to support student development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment and best practice.
- Contribute to school-wide activities including events, assemblies, and co-curricular programmes.
- Uphold safeguarding, inclusion, and behaviour management policies.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Education or a related subject (minimum 3 years, full-time).
- Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed.).
- 3 5 years of teaching experience in a British curriculum primary school.
- Female applicants with UK passport holders only (visa requirement).
- Strong understanding of child development and primary pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
