Roles & Responsibilities

Looking for a positive, driven and inspirational Primary Mathematics Leader to join the team.

Essential

  • Hold a bachelor s degree and a post-graduate qualification in education.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have a proven record of raising attainment and improving progress.
  • Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning.
  • Be proficient in the development and adaptation of curriculum in the subject.
  • Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice.

Desirable

  • Demonstrate effective teaching strategies and promote high quality teaching of mathematics across the school.
  • Ability to oversee and implement the analysis of student outcomes.
  • Understand curriculum design and the concept of a developing an aspirational, cumulative curriculum.
  • Take responsibility for leading the development and resourcing of the curriculum in collaboration with other Phase Leaders.
