Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare primary design drawings including:

  • Overall SLD and PSLD.
  • Single Line diagram LVAC & DC Distribution System.
  • General Overall Equipment Layout (OEL) arrangement for AIS and GIS Substation.
  • ERT layout.
  • Indoor and Outdoor Equipment layout plans and Sectional views.
  • Equipment foundation layout.
  • All type of Cable sizing and routing layout diagrams
  • Earthing mat sizing calculation and layout with BOM details.
  • DSLP calculation for indoor and outdoor with layout and BOM.
  • Battery bank, Charger and UPS sizing calculation.
  • Busbar calculations and drawings.
  • Cable schedule and termination schedule with BOM of Glands and lugs.
  • Short circuit force calculation and stringing chart as per IEC standard,
  • CT/VT Sizing Calculation.
  • Indoor, Outdoor and Road Lighting calculation and circuit diagram & layout.
  • HV equipment connection and interconnection details, (EKD) erection Key diagram.
  • Conduct equipment sizing and selection (circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, surge arresters, DG set, Auxiliary Transformer, NGR, etc.)

  • Coordinate with secondary design, civil, Structural, Architecture, BIM, Mechanical, Fire protection, Firefighting, CCTV surveillance and protection teams for interface clarity.

  • Knowledge about Substation Control and Monitoring System (SCMS) & SCADA Integration at LDC/ NCC and ECC, Telecommunications Equipment/Systems, Protective Security System.
  • Knowledge about Power System Studies, Review of LCC and protection scheme checking.
