Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Cultivate a vibrant and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to learn.
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and promote critical thinking.
- Assess student progress regularly through various methods, providing constructive feedback to foster growth.
- Collaborate with parents/guardians to build a strong home-school partnership, supporting student success.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and respectful space for all learners.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning challenges.
- Participate actively in school-wide initiatives and professional development to continuously improve teaching practices.
- Foster a love of learning by creating exciting and memorable learning experiences.
- Prepare students for standardized tests while maintaining a focus on overall student development.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a bachelor's degree in education or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of pedagogy.
- Holds a valid teaching license/certification, showcasing formal recognition of teaching proficiency.
- Has a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a primary school setting, demonstrating practical classroom knowledge.
- Prior experience in international schools is a plus, showing experience with diverse curricula and student populations.
- Exhibits the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners, ensuring inclusivity.
- Shows a passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to student success and well-being.
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
- Exhibits fluency in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective communication with students and parents.
