Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons based on the UK National Curriculum to a Key Stage 1 or 2 class. We are looking for a creative educator who can provide a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
Ensure pupils’ academic progress through effective teaching and personalised support.
Create a well-organised and positive classroom environment.
Manage behaviour in accordance with the school’s policies.
Monitor and assess pupil progress using formative and summative methods.
Integrate technology and other innovative approaches into teaching practice where appropriate.
Communicate regularly with parents and carers.
Provide regular, detailed and useful feedback to students in accordance with the school's assessment system.
Follow the school’s internal policies and adhere to established procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Participate in staff meetings, school events, and training sessions.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE (UK or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
Experience in assessment and differentiated instruction.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
