Cloud principal consultant provides expert level GCP solution architecture and automation building security into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

Responsibilities:

• Cloud Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design comprehensive cloud strategies that align with business objectives, focusing on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
• Infrastructure Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of robust cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
• Migration Planning and Execution: Oversee cloud migration projects, developing detailed plans and executing seamless transitions from on-premises to cloud environments.
• Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for cloud security and compliance, ensuring that all infrastructure components meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish monitoring frameworks to assess cloud performance, making recommendations for improvements and cost savings.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting cloud best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on cloud infrastructure and client operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and compliance frameworks, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

• 7+ years of relevant experience in DevOps

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure design and implementation, with expertise in platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
