Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead the management of information and document control, along with digital systems delivery developed during the execution of business through its entire lifecycle.

Provide leadership and direction to information management, document control, data management and engineering systems administration as well as the digitalization for the projects being implemented.

Provide thought leadership to the information management function, ensuring progressive and modern practices that embrace the digitisation transformation, use technology effectively and support the business strategy.

Job specific experience

  • Significant experience and competence in operationally focused senior management roles within a complex international organisation
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of relevant markets
  • Ability to provide leadership to multination team members and close coordination with multiple disciplines across a complex organisation
  • Proven ability to establish strong and appropriate relationships with the leadership team, customers, staff and all stakeholders
  • Proven record of implementing and embedding a safety culture
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating and coordinating diverse areas of management.
  • Ability to influence, enable, and drive company performance and culture through excellent communication

Knowledge of

  • Cutting edge information and document management, digital transformation trends, new to market and in development, and to be released possibilities
  • Recent Knowledge of the growth and advancement of Digital Transition within industry.
  • Current and nascent technologies related to the IM, DM and digital sectors
  • General familiarity with related industry standards & initiatives e.g., CFIHOS, BIM ISO19650 etc.
  • Strategic commercial and business models
  • Corporate governance and decision making
  • Ability to manage relationships effectively, across different cultures
  • Detailed awareness of external factors, competitors and their impact on the strategy & success

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for participating in the creation, maintenance and enforcement of IM strategy, standards and procedures and assures compliance.
  • Responsible for ensuring technical competence standards and for monitoring competence levels, and for overall management and development of Information Management, Document Control,
  • Data Management & Record Management.
  • Responsible for establishing the functional requirements for Information Management Systems and Tools and working with IT and software vendors to ensure they are met.
  • Work within the Project Delivery organization to ensure IM & DM procedures are consistent with the overall execution strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of Information Management & Document Management Systems and Tools
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of workshare strategies within Information Management & Document Management
  • Advise on the technical direction, processes and supporting technologies that will enable the successful delivery of IM, DM and related digital services.
  • Responsible for engaging with the project management to coordinate and ensure all day-to-day management and operational decisions are met and that solutions meet the customer expectations, leading to successful project delivery
  • Identify and assess principal execution risks for projects in IM, DM and digital systems and ensure that these are being monitored and managed
  • Ensure that the digital transition maintains high ethical standards and social responsibility wherever it does business
