Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and review of complex temporary works schemes, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring consistent quality of work.
  • Manage and coordinate temporary works activities across multiple projects, overseeing design, construction, and dismantling phases.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure safe working practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license, signifying a commitment to ethical practice and professional competence.
  • Has a minimum of 10 years of experience in temporary works design and construction, showcasing extensive practical knowledge.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of relevant codes and standards, including Eurocodes and British Standards.
