Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Principal Geochemist collaborate with all technical team for excellence of exploration programs. Reposible to develop and desing of all methodologies and SOP's. Design and implement geochemical sampling programs to support mineral exploration and resource evaluation. Ensure continued team development on geochemical methodologies and interpretation. Interpret geochemical data to identify mineralization patterns, geochemical anomalies, and potential ore deposits.
Collaborate with geologists to integrate geochemical data into geological models. Develop geochemical models and predictive tools to optimize mineral exploration targeting and resource estimation. Stay abreast of emerging geochemical technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices to ensure continuous improvement and innovation. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and external partners to convey geochemical findings, project progress, and compliance with regulations.
Work through all Maaden exploration camps and assist/mentor all geologists in the field.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements & Summary
- BSc, MSc Degree (or PhD preferable) in relevant Geoscience discipline ?15 years of relevant experience in mineral exploration and demonstrated expertise in conducting geochemical investigations, including sampling design, laboratory techniques, and data analysis. ?Proficiency in geochemical modeling software and statistical analysis tools.
