Principal Geologist, Structural Mapping Ma'aden Aluminium Company (MAC)

Key Accountabilities

QA/QC Framework & Standards

• Define and maintain BMNM-wide QA/QC standards for drilling, sampling, assay, and data handling.
• Ensure consistent application of QA/QC protocols across all sites and projects.
• Establish acceptance criteria, escalation thresholds, and corrective action processes.

Structural Interpretation & Modeling

• Lead structural interpretation at deposit and district scale, integrating surface mapping, drill core logging, and geophysical data.
• Define structural frameworks controlling mineralization, continuity, and ore shoot geometry.
• Ensure structural interpretations are consistently incorporated into geological and resource models.

Support to Resource Evaluation & Classification

• Provide structural input into Mineral Resource interpretation, domaining, and classification.
• Support continuity assessments and uncertainty analysis related to faulting, folding, and deformation.
• Work closely with geostatisticians and modelers to ensure structural constraints are correctly applied.

Operational & Underground Support

• Support open-pit and underground operations by providing structural guidance for:
• o Stope and pit wall design assumptions
• o Orebody continuity and dilution risk
• o Geotechnical and mining interfaces (in collaboration with geotechnical teams)
• Assist with structural mapping programs in active pits and underground development.

Governance & Standardization

• Define standards and best practices for structural logging, mapping, and interpretation across BMNM.
• Review and peer-assess structural components of internal and consultant-generated models.
• Ensure structural assumptions are documented, traceable, and defensible.

Capability Building

• Mentor site geologists in structural logging, interpretation, and model integration.
• Develop guidelines and training material to improve structural competency across operations.
• Reduce reliance on external structural consultants by building sustainable internal expertise.
