Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with the prime drivers related to onshore/offshore Instrumentation & Control design. A thorough knowledge of the codes and standards and a good understanding of onshore/offshore engineering practices applicable to Instrumentation & Control design for oil and gas facilities.
- Able to make difficult decisions and lead and manage others in changing business conditions.
- Competent with the project estimating process and can input design deliverables into estimating module.
- Conversant with brownfield engineering principles and ability to incorporate them into design.
- Extensive experience in 3D modelling and Drafting of Onshore and offshore EPC projects for various sectors like Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical.
- Extensive knowledge of detailed engineering activities using:
- PDMS Draft Module
- Preparation of Instrument and JB Layout
- Control Room Layout
- Cable tray layout
- Cable Tray MTO
- Instrument Bulk MTO
- Hook-up diagram
- Level Sketch
- Block Diagram
- System Architecture Diagram
- F&G Layout
- Telecom Layout
- Typical Installation details for Instrument, F&G and Telecom items.
IT Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SP3D/PDMS/PMS. Additionally, experience in SPI, REVIT and MicroStation will be preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Industry Specific Experience
- Design experience within the oil and gas industry, preferably some of experience should be related with offshore brownfield upgrade projects and experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
- Experience in Detail Design both onshore/offshore
Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
- Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Instrumentation & Control discipline
