Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of Solution Architects, providing coaching, technical guidance, and career development support.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Act as a role model for technical leadership and promote knowledge-sharing across teams.
Technical Delivery & Accountability
- Own and drive the end-to-end technical delivery of large-scale, complex projects, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
- Ensure architectural decisions meet business requirements while remaining scalable, secure, and efficient.
- Identify and implement opportunities for technical innovation, automation, and process optimisation to improve project outcomes and delivery efficiency.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Serve as a senior technical point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and client expectations.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects, managing risks, dependencies, and change.
- Provide regular updates on technical progress, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and project stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Lead technical assessments and recommend best-fit solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and business strategy.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends, bringing innovative ideas to drive business value and efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Requirements
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, TOGAF) are desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or principal role.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex technology projects in fast-paced big data environments.
- Extensive full-stack technical knowledge across front-end, back-end, cloud, and DevOps.
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in full-stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern software architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, containerisation).
- Strong understanding of automation, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
Leadership & Communication Skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire technical teams.
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to manage client expectations and influence decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
