Job Description

The Principal Solutions Engineer (ERP) plays a pivotal role in developing, integrating, and managing cutting-edge Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to optimize business processes and ensure efficient operations. This position is charged with leveraging both technical knowledge and strategic insights to tailor solutions that meet organizational goals and enhance overall performance. A successful candidate will excel in understanding complex business requirements and translating them into actionable technical solutions. This role requires an individual who is not only proficient in software engineering and ERP systems but also possesses exceptional communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners. The Principal Solutions Engineer will be instrumental in driving innovation and process improvements that lead to sustainable business growth and increased competitiveness.


Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of ERP solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business processes.
  • Analyze business requirements to develop and recommend ERP strategies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to integrate them into the ERP environment.
  • Oversee testing processes to ensure system reliability and performance standards.
  • Manage the lifecycle of ERP system updates and new feature deployment.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Ensure ERP systems comply with all regulatory and security standards.
  • Prepare detailed documentation to support maintenance and onboarding efforts.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans to safeguard essential business data systems.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to empower staff on new ERP functionalities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in implementing and managing ERP systems.
  • Proven expertise in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable leadership capabilities and experience in mentoring technical teams.
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
