Principal Structural Design Engineer

Carry our analysis and design of building structures using software like Etabs/SAFE, STAAD.br>

Knowledge of Revit will be an advantage.br>

Offer support and guidance to junior members of the team.br>

Effectively manage own time which may be necessary if allocated to more than one project.br>

Check the work of junior engineers in the team.br>

Coordinate with other disciplines for the structural elements./span> br>

Requirements

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.br>

Experience of 10+ years working in Design office, designing building structures.br>

Experience of working on the Middle East building projects will be an advantagebr>

Experience of working on multi-discipline projects.br>

Practical experience of reinforced concrete design and RC detailing of reinforced concrete structures, to British Standards and American codes.br>

Preferably also practical experience of structural steel design and detailing of steel structures, to British Standards and American codes.br>

Have a desire to lead technically and collaborate within a technically orientated team.br>

Established skill and delivery in the design and analysis of concrete and steel structures and be familiar with current design standards and working practices.br>

Have the ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative.br>

You must be able to work independently and in teams.br>

Acceptance of responsibility for work carried out. A flexible and adaptable approach to work is required.br>

Excellent verbal and written communication skills./span> br>
