Overview

Line manages more junior staff. Highly experienced technical practitioner literate and experienced in most dimensions of city planning with a clear body of work as a leader / author. Define long-term planning strategies aligned with organisational goals; with responsibility for some work winning. Helps define and deliver department goals. Oversee portfolio-level planning for multiple projects or programs. Able to communicate key planning principles, methodologies and outcomes to senior levels of client organizations independently. Contribute to operational components.

Your role

• Works independently, with guidance in only the most challenging situations
• May lead functional teams.
• Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends process or service improvements Act as the client s point of contact on a multitude of project.
• Leads on work winning, business development and marketing strategies.
• Capable of interpreting, navigating and communicating sensitive information through clear messaging.
• Remain balanced, unbiased and approachable and open to all staff.
• Oversee all client relationships (internal and external).
• Represents the company in conferences etc.
• Leads on Thought Leadership.

• Project Resource Planning and project management on small to medium scale projects.
• Coaching and mentoring.
• Extensive project experience.

• Ability to make critical decisions.

• Work winning in the form of full proposal writing on all scales of projects, as well as pitching to clients.
