Printing Department Head

The candidate must have experience in can (tinplate) manufacturing. Experience in plastic can manufacturing will not be considered. Similar industry experience is mandatory.

This position is based in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day printing operations to meet production schedules and delivery timelines.
• Ensure accurate color matching, print quality, coating, and adherence to approved artwork specifications.
• Plan and coordinate printing activities in alignment with Press, CTI, and Assembly/Body Making departments.
• Monitor and control wastage of tinplate sheets, inks, coatings, and other consumables.
• Supervise and lead the printing team, including operators and helpers, ensuring productivity and discipline.
• Ensure proper machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with the maintenance team.
• Implement and maintain strict quality control procedures throughout the printing process.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., hygiene, contamination control) for food-grade packaging.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Sales, and Design teams for artwork approvals, trials, and new product developments.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies.
• Prepare and submit production reports, efficiency analysis, and improvement plans to management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and improve quality.
