Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
a. Run several presses with different size and color capacities.
b. Prepare machines for printing.
c. Install the printing plate with the images to be printed.
d. Ink the presses, load carton, and adjust the press to the carton size.
e. Ensure that paper and ink meet specifications
f. Adjust the flow of ink to the inking rollers accordingly.
g. Guide carton through the press cylinders and adjust feed and tension controls.
h. Monitor their operation and keep the carton feeders well stocked.
i. Make adjustments to manage ink distribution, speed, and temperature in the drying chamber.
j. Correct carton tears or jams.
k. Search for and correct problems.
l. Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of carton and ink.
m. Pull sheets to check for printing imperfections.
n. Set up, monitor, and adjust the printing process on a control panel
Desired Candidate Profile
Should have 2 to 3 years experience in packaging industries.
