Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
Reporting to the Workplace Build and Products team manager in charge of workstation engineering activities, the Print Services Engineer will be responsible for:
- actively contributing to modernization and standardization projects for our printing environments
- validating, adapting and adapting group standards to meet the challenges of our organization
- qualifying requests for projects or developments in printing environments
- participating in maintaining the team's document repository: hardware catalog, Print Management, driver management, technical operating documentation
- participating in the resolution of complex incidents
- participating in the definition of technical solutions (Secure Printing, Industrial Printing, Scanning, etc.), their documentation, acceptance tests and validations
- coordinating technical actions or tests carried out by our subcontractors or the workstation technical referents of our sites
- contributing to the transfer of skills to the support teams
- taking responsibility for As a Service Owner, be responsible for the performance and quality of documentation
- participate in group expert communities
- propose improvements and technical developments
Job Requirements
The candidate will have to implement the following know-how and knowledge:
Expert in standard printing environments: Office, Industrial, SafeQ
Expertise in printing processes and components and protocols, at least under Windows (PostScript1, EMF, Raw format; print servers, print spooler, etc.)
Knowledge of the options and features available on copiers, MFPs and plotters from at least one major manufacturer on the market (CANON, KONICA Minolta, HP, etc.)
Experience in managing a fleet of copiers spread across several sites
Mastery of analysis methods and incident processing (Windows processes, event logs, etc.)
Technical knowledge base management
