Process Assistant Manager Savola Group

Key Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day line operations to meet plan adherence and deliver the right quantity at the right quality, safety, OEE, and cost in line with schedule and cross functional requirements (PQCDSM).
• Supervise and organize the shift team ensuring compliance with procedures; foster an Autonomous Maintenance (AM) engaged culture and support SME maturity.
• Manage shift handover and past 24h performance reviews, coordinate updates/repairs, and ensure issues are closed out.
• Administer workforce scheduling (workstation assignments/rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime, back ups for absences, shift rotations).
• Safeguard product quality by monitoring conformance to specifications, escalating defects, and completing daily QDI.
• Lead continuous improvement: conduct RCAs, share learnings, and implement initiatives to reduce direct material and conversion costs, following international best practices.
• Own HSE and housekeeping across the process area to meet legislative and company standards.
• Prepare timely, accurate reports aligned with Savola and departmental requirements.
• Collaborate cross functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Packaging; liaise with suppliers and consultants as needed.
• Develop people & performance: coach operators on KPIs, build synergy across production areas, and drive a proactive, continuous improvement culture.
