Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the commissioning of process systems, ensuring alignment with project specifications, design documents, and safety regulations from pre-commissioning to handover.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules, coordinating activities across multiple disciplines and stakeholders to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct detailed system checks, functional testing, and performance verification of process equipment and instrumentation, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal operation.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance during the commissioning phase, including training and mentoring of junior engineers and technicians.
  • Review and approve commissioning documentation, including test procedures, reports, and as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in commissioning of process plants, with a focus on oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industries.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of process equipment, instrumentation, control systems (DCS/PLC), and process safety systems.
  • Exhibits proficiency in commissioning methodologies, including pre-commissioning, loop checks, functional testing, and performance testing.
