Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute the Operational Excellence strategy aligned with company goals.
- Promote continuous improvement, employee engagement, and process ownership.
- Serve as the Operational Excellence expert and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Analyze OEE and performance data to identify inefficiencies.
- Lead root cause analysis and cross-functional problem-solving.
- Implement Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) to reduce waste and improve workflows.
- Develop and enforce SOPs for consistent and efficient operations.
- Manage process control systems and ensure reliability through preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Identify automation and technology opportunities to boost productivity.
- Establish data collection frameworks and track operational KPIs.
- Create dashboards and reports for real-time performance visibility.
- Apply statistical analysis to support decisions and improvement actions.
- Conduct regular team and individual performance reviews.
- Build and maintain employee skill matrices.
- Design and deliver Operational Excellence training programs.
- Coach teams to strengthen problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Conduct workshops and implement Operate & Maintain programs.
- Prepare and monitor plant budgets, ensuring alignment with targets.
- Develop CAPEX plans linked to business priorities.
- Control plant budgets, CAPEX, and consumables spending.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
- Encourage experimentation, innovation, and idea generation.
- Continuously refine operational processes and systems.
- Ensure manufactured products meet quality standards.
- Suspend production when major defects occur and provide technical solutions.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to all HSE procedures, compliance, and environmental responsibility.
- Implement systems for standard checks and accountability.
- Continuously upgrade operational SOPs to meet company standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in process control engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex process data.
- Familiarity with process optimization techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
