Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Depending on the nature, scope, and timeline of the project, you could be a 

  • To be involved in the sizing and design of wastewater treatment plants (pre-treatment, primary treatment, secondary treatment, tertiary treatment, sludge treatment and deodorization).
  • Supporting the drafting office in the creation of plans for wastewater treatment plants (site plan, hydraulic profile, treatment plant guide plans, technical buildings).
  • Drafting specifications for wastewater treatment plants and ensuring cost estimates for services to be prepared for the start of construction.
  • Control the execution plans of the construction companies for the project management missions (Process calculation note, hydraulic profile, P&ID, guide plans, technical specifications of mechanical equipment).
  • Ensure coordination with electricians/automation engineers for the definition of energy needs, ensure the proper functioning of equipment and its protection.
  • Carry out monitoring and acceptance missions for work as needed.
  • Take into account the client's expectations and specifications throughout the projects.
  • Participate in and lead project meetings with clients.
  • Apply and promote health, safety and environmental standards in all activities.
  • Very good knowledge of technical standards in terms of sizing, design, ergonomics of structures, safety of installations.

In addition to your technical role, you will participate in the development of commercial offers and their follow-up.

Desired Candidate Profile

You hold an engineering degree in water treatment, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in this field, in design offices or construction companies (water treatment).

Experience in project management and/or studies in hydraulics will be considered as additional assets.
