Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Technical Oversight: Provide expert guidance on process design, modifications, and troubleshooting to ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Coordination & Liaison: Act as a bridge between the client, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contractors, and internal teams to ensure process integrity.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that process engineering deliverables meet quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
- Review & Verification: Review process design documents, P&IDs, process calculations, and safety studies prepared by contractors or vendors.
- Progress Monitoring: Track progress of process engineering activities, ensuring timely completion within project schedules.
- Change Management: Evaluate and approve process design changes, ensuring impacts on safety, performance, and schedule are managed.
- Risk & Safety Management: Support HAZOP studies, safety reviews, and ensure process safety standards are integrated into design and execution.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of process engineering activities, deviations, and resolutions; prepare progress reports.
- Support during Commissioning: Assist in process startup, troubleshooting, and optimization during commissioning phases.

Responsibilities of a PMC Process Engineer:
- Review and approve process design documents, including P&IDs, PFDs, and datasheets.
- Ensure process safety and environmental compliance throughout project execution.
- Participate in design reviews, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
- Monitor the implementation of process engineering deliverables by EPC contractors.
- Facilitate technical clarifications and resolve process-related issues during construction and commissioning.
- Support the development of operating procedures and training materials.
- Ensure that process modifications or deviations are properly documented and approved.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Contribute to project risk assessments and mitigation strategies related to process design.

Desired Candidate Profile

Min 15 Yrs of experience PMC experience in process industry from Refinery background.
