PROCESS ENGINEER - OFFSHORE DUNCAN AND ROSS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCIES

Execute process engineering activities for offshore oil and gas projects during FEED and Detailed Design phases in line with EPC project schedules and quality requirements

Develop and finalize process design solutions suitable for EPC execution and procurement

Prepare, review, and issue key process deliverables, including: Process Design Basis and Design Philosophies, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process calculations and simulations, Equipment and package data sheets, Utility and offsite summaries

Operating, control, start-up, shutdown, and emergency philosophies (design level)

Participate in and close out process safety studies, including: HAZID, HAZOP, SIL / LOPA (as applicable)

Ensure safety study recommendations are incorporated into process design deliverables

Support EPC internal design reviews and client design approvals

Interface with internal EPC disciplines including Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Layout, Safety, and Commissioning

Provide process inputs for: Equipment sizing and specifications, Plot plan and layout development, Line sizing and control philosophies

Support technical alignment with procurement and construction-driven design requirements

Prepare process inputs for RFQs and technical bid evaluations

Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with process design intent

Participate in meetings with clients, vendors, and third parties during FEED and DD

Ensure all process engineering activities comply with:

Contractual and client specifications

International codes and standards (API, ISO, ASME, IEC, etc.)

EPC contractor procedures and quality systems

Support resolution of technical queries, deviations, and clarifications during the engineering phase
