Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review commissioning procedures, checklists, and plans specific to FPSO/FLNG facilities.
- Support and coordinate commissioning activities, including pre-commissioning, start-up, and handover processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting process systems during commissioning and early operational phases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Safety) to ensure smooth commissioning and start-up.
- Review and verify process design, safety, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to commissioning teams and contractors.
- Participate in FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SATs (Site Acceptance Tests).
- Contribute to risk assessments and HAZOP studies related to process systems.
- Support the development of operational procedures and training for start-up and commissioning.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on commissioning in FPSO, FLNG, or offshore oil and gas facilities.
- Proven experience in commissioning and start-up of floating production units.
- Strong understanding of process safety, control systems, and process automation.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., API, ISO, MARPOL).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic offshore environment and handle high-pressure situations.
