Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To carry out the pre- front-end engineering design (FEED), front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed engineering process input to engineering projects in support of the development of new and existing Oil& gas, Refineries and Petrochemical facilities.
To carryout screening studies and develop process schematics for the Clients Conceptual Engineers in support of potential engineering project.
To carryout process simulations and optimization studies for selected projects and prepare Process Flow Schemes with heat and mass balances and equipment sizes.
To create / update process engineering deliverables and calculations during all design phases including interpretation of standards.
To review any process design work carried out by third parties (vendors), and to participate in design review, HAZOPs, Safety and Facility Audits.
To establish the actual (as opposed to design) capacities and capabilities of existing field facilities in order to identify potential bottlenecks and scope for optimization.
To understand the requirements of the quality management system and ensure these requirements are met.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years upstream Oil & Gas, and downstream Refineries and Petrochemical experience including a minimum 5 years process engineering experience with engineering consultancies is required. Experience in use of process software like HYSYS, Pipesim, Flarenet, Pipeline studio, HTRI, etc. Experience in FEED and DD projects.
