Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and optimizing production processes in the nacelle manufacturing of wind turbine generators (WTGs) to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. You will work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to identify bottlenecks, improve workflows, and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. This role offers practical exposure to hands-on problem-solving, continuous improvement, and manufacturing excellence in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze nacelle manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Support daily production operations by troubleshooting technical issues.
- Collaborate with quality engineers and inspectors to ensure nacelle components meet specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for process deviations.

Only candidates who successfully complete all stages and pass the required assessments will be offered employment. The first training cohorts are expected to begin no earlier than November 2025./p>
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA above 2.5 out of 4.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in process, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering.
- Must be under thirty-five (35) years of age.
- Must be registered as a job seeker or have resigned from previous employment for at least three months.
- Must not have previously benefited from any government or private initiative.
- Fluency in English.
- Overall fitness: Candidates must be medically fit for industrial work environments (active for extended periods, working in shifts, and using PPE such as safety shoes, gloves, masks, and eye protection).
- Vision & hearing: Adequate vision (including depth perception) and hearing for safe operation of tools/equipment; color vision may be required for some QC/inspection roles.
- Respiratory readiness: Ability to work in areas where dust control, ventilation, or respirators may be used (training and fit-testing provided, where applicable).
- Mechanical handling (role-dependent): Some positions may involve assembly and handling of heavy equipment, gears, shafts, and other nacelle components under strict safety procedures.
