2. Job Purpose

To provide technical consultancy and advice on complex engineering matters requiring a high degree of expertise. Responsible for engineering studies, design functions, interpretation of standards, and development of methods, practices, and techniques where not clearly defined.

4. Main Accountabilities

Policies, Processes and Procedures

• Apply approved policies and procedures

• Ensure adherence to controlled work processes

Day-to-Day Operations

• Execute daily technical support operations

• Ensure compliance with standards and procedures

Engineering Consultation and Advice

• Provide in-house technical consultation

• Solve complex engineering problems

• Develop engineering projects and innovative solutions

Technical Duties and Standards

• Act independently on technical matters

• Interpret codes and standards

• Perform complex engineering assignments

Procurement & Equipment Review

• Review quotations, purchase requests, and bid summaries

• Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with specifications

Project Management & Cost Control

• Provide budget estimates

• Monitor and control project costs

Mentoring & Coaching

• Provide technical leadership and training

• Support development of junior engineers

Troubleshooting

• Investigate issues and provide solutions

• Ensure timely and accurate problem resolution

Reporting

• Prepare accurate and timely reports

Safety, Health & Environment
