Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop and design process systems, including process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and technical specifications.
- Responsible for communication and coordination with the client's process engineers and the PMT (Project Management Team).
- Organize the identification and interpretation of Saudi legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Saudi Aramco project specifications relevant to the discipline.
- Manage process-related design subcontracting activities.
- Assist in overseeing schedule, quality, HSE, and cost control management for the process discipline.
- Support the management of procurement activities for major process equipment (e.g., special piping components and valves).
- Assist in construction coordination and support services.
- Support the identification and analysis of discipline-related content in project contract documents and contribute to related research efforts.
- Prepare process-related content for various project reports as required and participate in coordination meetings.
- Support interdisciplinary document reviews, design file archiving, site handover, and design summary activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in process engineering with a focus on design.
- Must be familiar with upstream oil and gas field treatment processes and have knowledge of oil-gas separation, oil gathering & transportation, and related process flows.
- Proficiency in design and simulation software such as HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or similar tools.
- Experience with HAZOP, P&IDs, and other technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to process engineering.
