Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

A Mission g n rale :

Manage and coordinate the activities of process engineers to ensure the optimization and reliability of manufacturing processes. Guarantee technical performance, adherence to deadlines, and production quality, while supporting continuous improvement within the workshop.

B Main responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the team of process engineers.
  • Define priorities and distribute tasks according to projects and production needs.
  • To monitor individual and collective performance, and to implement skills development plans.
  • Promote communication between technical teams, production, the design office and suppliers.
  • Supervise the validation and implementation of manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure the capability of resources and the stability of processes.
  • Manage the validation, testing and characterization plans for products and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards, internal and regulatory references.
  • Analyze workshop feedback and propose corrective or preventive actions.
  • Leading expert approaches to solve complex problems (FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa).
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and implementation of new means or processes.
  • Participate in the industrialization of new products, from the development phase to the end of the series.
  • Monitor compliance with deadlines, costs and quality of projects related to processes.
  • Ensure regular reporting to the technical and industrial management.

C. Required skills and knowledge:

  • Technical expertise in mechanics, electromechanics, electronics and electrical engineering.
  • Mastery of statistical tools and continuous improvement (Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA).
  • Knowledge of test benches and software, instrumentation and measurements.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical plans.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and tracking software (SAP, Minitab, Office Suite).
  • Excellent managerial and interpersonal skills, sense of coordination and teamwork.

  • Bac +5 training in mechanical engineering, electromechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in managing process engineers or technical teams.
  • Autonomy, organizational skills and the ability to make decisions.
  • Good communicator and able to interact with multiple stakeholders (production, engineering, clients, suppliers).

E. Main objectives:

  • To guarantee the technical performance and reliability of the processes.
  • Ensure the upskilling and efficiency of the process team.
  • Optimize production and reduce non-conformities.
