Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure maximum efficiency and availability of all production equipment.
  • Monitor and control production parameters for all oil, gas, utilities, production processes, and water injection.
  • Coordinate daily activities of production operators and support plant operators as required.
  • Provide support to DCS operators when needed.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
  • Supervise chemical stocks, injections, and related results.
  • Oversee water injection processes, crude oil tank levels, and water treatment processes.
  • Provide operator input and feedback into maintenance programmes and production planning activities.
  • Prepare and send maintenance notifications.
  • Ensure implementation of all safety and operating instructions.
  • Review, authorise, and sign work permits (PTW) for operational and maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, production, and HSE teams to ensure safe execution of work.
  • Identify operational risks, troubleshoot process upsets, and initiate corrective actions.
  • Maintain housekeeping and asset integrity standards.
  • Pl an work activities and schedules for operators.

Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive experience in oil and gas processing.
  • Relevant experience in supervisory positions.
  • Education preferably in Chemical Engineering or a related diploma/degree.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

Desired Candidate Profile

At Eni, we are looking for a Process Supervisor within the Zubair Field Operating Division in Basra, Iraq. You will be responsible for overseeing plant process operations and monitoring process parameters to ensure safe, reliable and efficient performance. This will be carried out in compliance with production targets, operating procedures and HSE requirements.

Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
