Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor negotiation

  • Prepare and issue Proforma Invoices as required

  • Coordinate logistics, shipments, and delivery schedules

  • Assigns logistics providers to provide transport services to deliver goods from various locations across the globe

  • Compiles carrier and route assignments.

  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments on daily basis.

  • Follows up with logistics providers, relevant departments for timely delivery of goods

  • Provides regular operational reporting on logistics to relevant departments and to management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and cost control measures

  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

  • Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of any logistics software (ERP)

  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) are highly advantageous.

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and logistics operations

  • 5+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience

  • Experience processing shipments using DHL, UPS and FedEx software

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Experience in working in a business ERP system

  • Good knowledge of Incoterms

  • Prior global shipping management/customs clearance experience is highly desirable

  • Ability to work under high pressure

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes
